Buff and Shine's new patent pending EdgeGuard pad line was developed to solve many problems detailers face with orbital foam polishing pads today. EdgeGuard pads will run on any gear driven, orbital, or dual action polisher! You will not find a pad line with more features than Buff and Shine's EdgeGuard lineup. And with six foam pads in the line, you can pair them up with any polishing system:

With EdgeGuard pads there's no more worrying about damaging delicate trim, molding or paintwork. Their unique design wraps the foam around the backing plate, helping to prevent accidental damage from your backing plate on adjacent surfaces. The breathable looped backing and thermally sealed reinforced polymer pocket provides edge support while also allowing for quick self centering and makes it easy to peel the pad off your backing plate without ripping the foam. 

Each pad is made from a premium foam. You will recognize these foams from Buff and Shine's Uro-Tec line of pads. These pads are perfectly balanced which reduces vibration and pad "hopping", leading to superior contact with the polishing surface and ensuring a uniform polishing process.

All EdgeGuard Pads have a 5 inch recessed backing, a 6 inch pad face and are 1 inch thick. The side profile on these pads is quite unique. The milled side ensures extra flexibility, enabling the pads to fit around contours easier.
